The centreboard , or fin, has long been attached to the board at the time of manufacture. This fixed structure therefore imposed certain restrictions with regard to the manufacture of the boards and the practice of the sport. Thanks to the removable fin attachment system designed by FCS , the sanding step is facilitated since the fin can be fixed afterwards and the surfer can at any time change fins according to his needs or remove them to facilitate the storage of his board. This invention marked the world of surfing and revolutionized the practice.

A true "product brand", FCS is known and recognized throughout the world for the design of fins and fins, but also for various equipment for surfboards. The company launched a few years ago a new system for fixing fins, the FCS 2 , even more practical, easy, fast and solid than the first generation of fins.
