Behind the "Freak Show" brand Creature Skateboards hides skate expert Darren Navarette, and above all a fan of American Comis and horror movies, which you feel every time you get your hands on a new Creature Skateboard.

However, we have to go back well into the 2000s to find a trace of the founding of the brand with its flashy green decks, namely in 1994, when a certain Russ Pope, under contract to NHS Inc, founded Creature Skateboard. From the outset, Darren Navarette was the natural leader, with Jason Adams and Barker Barrett helping to build the pro skateboard team.

After a few separations, and the brand being discontinued by NHS Factory, Darren came back even more motivated than ever and, above all, stronger to relaunch this sublime skateboard label through well-supplied skate videos such as Born Dead, CSFU and Hesh Law.

With a new team in its sights and, above all, access to big Hammer and endless hand rails, the brand quickly set its sights on making skateboard decks with "P2" technology, a clever blend of aramid fiber and premium Canadian maple to make high-quality skateboards. More rigidity, longer life and a lunar pop!

The brand's particularity has also made it a buzz to offer skateboards with modern shapes and widths over 8.5! So if you're looking for a big pool or street board to take you down 20 steps first try, Creature Skateboard has boards up to 9 inches in classic shape!

Today, the skate team includes such big names as David Gravette, Chris Russell and Ryan Reyes. The Creature Skate team is renowned for its creative skateboarding styles.
