Darkroom

The skateboard brand Darkroom was created in 2012 by Don Pendleton, already recognized in the skateboarding world due to his numerous professional experiences.

He worked for over 20 years within the world's largest skateboard companies, where he managed to build a good reputation, especially at Alien Workshop for more than 8 years. He logically used this advantage to create his own brand, Darkroom. It was very well received by knowledgeable consumers in this quite demanding field.

In collaboration with Mike Sinclair and Kevin Furtado, this new company is entirely driven by the creativity of Pendleton. Its brand was officially launched in October 2018.

The company mainly markets skateboard decks, grips, clothing, accessories, etc... A brand with a very diverse range but always very focused on the art and authenticity of their products. The Darkroom works are very easily recognizable and quite distinct from other skate brands.

Darkroom holds a real added value that other skate brands do not have. Don Pendleton's creativity seems endless. His works, both contemporary and current, overflow with style and colors, for products that are always unique and different.

His inspiration notably comes from the freedom he has with creating his own brand. He is free to do what he wants, he can invent the designs he wishes whenever he wants without being restricted by a superior or a brand that doesn't like the result of his work. His specialty remains skate decks, on which he best expresses all his creativity. Darkroom boards are so artistic that many collectors prefer to display them in their living rooms rather than go skateboarding with them! Don Pendleton has designed more than a thousand skate decks, always maintaining the passion and imagination of his beginnings.
