Fishs Torq

When you love surfing, there are certain questions you might ask yourself. Where do fish surfboards come from? Why surf on a fish surfboard?

Hawaiisurf tells you more, it was Steve Lis, a Californian kneeboarder, who decided with a broken longboard split in two to make a small board with 2 fins (twin). The fish was born! The goal was to have a board with volume, quite flat (rocker) with a swallow tail to glide on the fast sections of waves. Today, fish boards are more seen as summer surfboards shaped to surf small to medium waves for those who don't want a longboard or the shortboarder looking for volume.

Our opinion is that every passionate surfer should have a fish board in their quiver for maximum fun but especially to catch more waves.
