Similar to its predecessor, the Pivot 18 GW, it uses the same technologies and construction, the only difference being its lower release level, which makes for a reliable & secure binding when you're riding hard! The Pivot 12 GW is designed to make the Pivot 18 GW and Pivot 12 GW more accessible to lighter skiers. Aimed at expert skiers with strong leverage, the Pivot 12 GW features a long elastic stroke to prevent unintentional release, while the pivoting heel piece limits the risk of injury by keeping the release in line with the tibia. The famous"Full Action" stop will continue to prevent injuries and untimely releases whether you practice freestyle, freeride or piste, adapting perfectly to all requirements and glides with its DIN from 4 to 12. The Pivot 12 GW respects the natural flex of the ski thanks to their reduced mounting zone and 7 points of contact between the boot and the ski , giving you unique sensations and better control. It's also important to note that these boots are compatible with classic alpine ski boots (ISO 5355) as well as boots with Gripwalk® soles.
