It wasn't until Jean Beyl, an avid skier, broke his legs twice while on vacation in the mountains that he decided in 1947 to create LOOK bindings, the first brand of laminated iron bindings he christened "Anti-fracture".

In the 60s, LOOK bindings made a big splash at international competitions. Thanks to their Grand-prix binding, the first turn-plate binding system, the brand won two gold medals in downhill and giant slalom at the 1960 Olympic Games.

Since 1994, Look has been part of the Rossignol Group and offers a wide range of bindings for a whole range of skis, including their "pivot" freestyle and freeride bindings, which made a comeback in 2009 after years of absence.
