When Mickael Akira West created his own snowwear brand, 686 Technical Apparel, his primary aim was to meet the demands of the board sport with a budget streetwear spirit. Starting with skateboarding, Mike developed a real street culture, which served as the main inspiration for his line of 686 snow jackets and pants.
