Its contemporary shape, combined with thinner rails than the classic The Don, provides a significantly superior grip and increased precision at high speeds. This fineness of the rails allows for better engagement of the board on the edge, offering a consistent control even when the wave accelerates. The The Don HP ACT thus retains the glide of a longboard while adopting the dynamic behavior of a shorter board.

The board rests on an EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) core, a high-density foam known for its lightness and optimized buoyancy. This core is paired with an epoxy resin, which is more durable and lighter than traditional resins, ensuring superior durability, better energy transfer, and a livelier ride.

The ACT (Advanced Composite Technology), a signature of Torq, incorporates a natural bamboo structure within the layering. Bamboo plays a key role: it provides a progressive and controlled flex, while maintaining excellent stiffness underfoot.
