Touring Ski Bindings

Unlike conventional ski binding systems, touring ski bindings leave the heel free and unhooked on ascents, so that you can walk smoothly and naturally even with your skis hooked to the tips of your toes! This allows the ski to glide naturally, reducing the effort required by beginners and experts alike!

The shoe is fitted with two attachment points at the front, allowing the binding to hook onto the front of the shoe, leaving the heel free. Shims can also be placed under the heel if you're climbing a steep slope, to facilitate movement and protect your calves from unnecessary fatigue during long hikes. The more technical the binding, the more degrees of inclination you can adjust the wedges to suit the slope you're climbing!
