Summer5 Tec 5'8" - Shortboard Surfboard

The Torq TEC Summer 5 is a summer shortboard designed to maximize fun in small waves and soft conditions. Thanks to its maxi volume (+30%), it makes paddling easier, allows for earlier take-offs, and helps catch more waves, even when the swell is weak.

Its TEC Epoxy Composite construction combines a high-density EPS foam (lightweight and durable core), a multi-layer epoxy lamination (reinforced with 4 oz and 6 oz fiberglass), and carbon reinforcements (enhancing flex and responsiveness). This process ensures a board that is both light, strong, and high-performing.

The squash tail (rounded square back) offers an excellent balance between speed, control, and maneuverability, ideal for generating speed in weak waves. Its wide outline (overall shape of the board) promotes stability and glide.
