The central kingpin screw for LAZER quad plate is a small screw piece used in quad rollers (4-wheel skates). It is used to maintain and adjust the central axis of the “truck” on the roller plate.
What is this screw used for exactly?
On a quad roller, the plate (the metal piece fixed under the shoe) has two trucks that hold the wheels. The central screw is the screw that:
- passes through the central axis of the truck (kingpin)
- keeps the cushions under compression
- allows you to adjust the rigidity of the truck pivot
