Torq Epoxy Composite offers performance shapes in vacuum epoxy laminate. The vacuum epoxy process uses a manual layup process, with a vacuum bonding process to bond the fiber to the board and remove excess resin. This technique allows for additional layers of fiber to be added while keeping the overall weight low. The result is, exceptional lightness AND durability!
If you're used to PU surfboards, these will feel faster at first. After just a few sessions, your old PU will seem very slow! The performance is very direct, thus, the TEC has an immediate response that is particularly good in smaller or weaker waves. In bigger waves, the advantage is that they are much less likely to break!
